Hellraiser Holston!

Oh this little one was a hoot to follow around.
Meet Holston Deckard:

Holston

I have known Holston's Mom since we were in grade school together, and I was so happy to get him in an environment that he loved!

Holston

My goal with this one: Get him to show me what he love to do, and try to really capture the perfect mix of hellyan and cuteness ;) Holston was an extremely curious little fella

Holston

When we were leaving, heading down the dirt road back to the entrance gate, Holston yelled "horsey!". We stopped so he could get out and try to coax them over. Much to my surprise the horses came, peeked over the barbed wire fence. Momma said, "give the horse a kiss", and I grabbed this at the right moment. The obvious favorite in the session.

Senior Pictures, Anyone?

Back in March I was asked to do Senior pictures for the beautiful Morgan.

Morgan G

I knew it then, and confirmed it during the session, that I LOVE Senior Pictures. It is creative to the max with willing participants... (and who wasn't in their prime at 18??)

Morgan G

(gosh I love that blue pier)
The battle we fought that day was wind. No wind on the beach is like a sandwich with no bread, it just never happens.

Morgan G

But we made the best of it, and he pictures came out just like I wanted them too.

Morgan G

Last shot of the day? Gurl-fran, get in the water!

Morgan G

The day was an experience for me, and I had a blast with such a daredevil subject!

Little Linley

Newborns are either hit or miss.

A hit, they are passed out asleep, and you can do everything but play a drum solo to wake them up.

Linley B

My previous baby shoot both babys were just that, fast asleep.
Miss Linley was a learning experience for me... how do you get a baby asleep, well, that doesn't want to sleep??

Linley B

You have 2 sessions, the final one ending with daddy faux vaccuming to bring "white noise" to the room. Oh it was a sight to see.

Linley B

But the pictures turned out great, even after the harsh workout to get them. Linley is the first baby and grandbaby for the family, and she was a joy to be around.

Lola Blue Eyes

Perhaps the cutest little girl I know, is Miss Lola Bunny

Miss Blue Eyes in Bonnets

I've known this little one since birth, and she is a pistol. Little hell on wheels, so I knew I would have no problem taking pictures of her.

Miss Blue Eyes in Bonnets

Even refusing to smile while ripping the bluebonnet to shreads, this little girl has a spark that connects to the camera.
With a little help from Mama and Nonnie and I got the picture of the day. Miss Blue Eyes in Bonnets:

Wonder where she gets it? She-get-it-from-her-mamma

Sunset Walk

After such a demanding ;) 30 minutes of bluebonnet pictures, Miss Lola was rewarded with a trip to the beach

B&W Sun Tan

In fact, the cutest little one ever. Not hard to take good pictures of her. :)

Bridals! Oh, Bridals!!

Meet the beautiful curly headed Kelli

Kelli G

Kelli and I go WAY back... which is easy to say when you are from a small town. But this time way back is back in kindergarden: Kelli was the first friend I made in school.

Kelli G

The stupid things you remember in life are always the ones that stick with you forever. The main thing I remember about kindergarden with Kelli? We sat right next to the Reptile tank.

Kelli G

I have to say, Kelli was one of the best people to have a 4 hour photoshoot with. It was her idea to go through the drive through and McDonalds to grab a 50 piece chicken nugget... and it was her idea to go get a 6 pack of tallboys!

Kelli G

Kelli and I also graduated with her husband, David, aka Mr. Outdoorsman.

Kelli G

For my first bridal shoot, I got spoiled. Kelli was so easy to capture and so much fun to be around.

Much love from me to Kelli and David!

Piper Summey, Maternity

My peeps, meet Piper:

Piper S Maternity

She's a quirky little thing, always full of smiles. Not only was she super easy to take pictures of because of her cuteness, but she happened to be my first (as I like to call them) Prego shoots :)

Piper S Maternity

Tucked away inside of that baby bump is little Conner McMahan, and he was a fiesty little thing, kicking props off Momma's belly.

Piper S Maternity

We stayed around my parents house for this session, making use of familiar scenery. Once I saw Piper's very colorful tunic, I was in love.

Piper S Maternity

Looking back at these pictures, I dig that outfit more and more. The contrast between her and the stale background really make the pictures standout. Maybe more in my future? Well wait and see ;)
